Episode 1 did air on MTV the day it streamed, Aug. 5. Since then the hours have gone up on Paramount+, so a cable-only viewer should not assume a Wednesday MTV airing of episode 8 and should check a local grid first. Last week's drop page has the same caution.
What is riding on this week's Arena?
Twenty-four players were drafted into three teams in the opener, with T. J. Lavin hosting and $500,000 waiting at the end. From episode 5 onward each team locked in one permanent captain, and every episode is designated a men's or a women's elimination, so exactly one player leaves per hour. Filming ran around Bangkok and in Chonburi province.

Dancing with the Stars ran night one of its season 35 premiere Tuesday; Conner Leavitt and Adele Zaikman went home, and Harry Shum Jr. led the leaderboard at 21 of 30.
